Poestenkill, NY 12140

Duration 05+ weeks (Possible extension)

Pay Rate: $23/hr W2 (Without benefits)

2nd Shift: 1pm – 9:30pm (M-F)

Goal would be to train one week at 1st shift and then transition to 2nd shift. Would be willing to review applicants with QC or Manufacturing experience.

The Quality Technician will support calibration, complaint handling, CAPA/Event, and nonconforming material control/handling.

Qualifications:

Minimum High school diploma. AS in Chemistry or related field desirable. Bachelor's degree a plus. Previous experience in regulated industry such as life sciences, food and beverage, or aerospace preferred, laboratory skills also desired. Lifting (up to 40 pounds), Prolonged Standing and Bending Required. Factory and Laboratory work environment. Equipment may subject employee to chemical, temperature and moving parts/blades thus safety will be the priority.

Responsibilities:

The Quality Technician supports activities related to the implementation, maintenance, control, and monitoring of quality systems and standards which monitor, assess, and approve the quality of materials and products at all stages of production, in accordance with corporate quality policies, applicable regulatory requirements, ISO requirements, and customer specifications/expectations. Primary responsibilities are inspection, data evaluation, sampling and disposition of in-process, finished product and raw materials and product certification.

He/she is responsible for communication of product quality standards and assisting production operators in achievement of those standards.
