Position Summary:The FSQA Associate acts as a hands-on resource for daily food safety and quality checks, ensuring compliance with enterprise standards and Grandma Quality expectations. This role supports the Supervisor in training and guiding Associates.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform pre-op inspections, in-process checks, and finished product evaluations.
- Verify sanitation completion and environmental monitoring results.
- Maintain accurate FSQA records and assist with audit preparation.
- Train Associates on proper inspection techniques and documentation.
- Report deviations and assist in root cause analysis.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in food safety preferred.
- 2+ years of FSQA or QA experience in food manufacturing.
- Familiarity with HACCP, GMPs, and basic microbiological concepts.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs.
- Work in cold/hot environments and wear PPE consistently.
