Geocomp’s Geo Testing Express (GTX) is seeking a Senior Laboratory Technician to join our Soil Testing Laboratory in Elmsford, NY.This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, detail-oriented individual to advance their career in geotechnical testing. You will work on state-of-the-art automated testing equipment, advanced processes, and real‑world projects that support site characterization, geotechnical design, quality control, and performance assessment.

You will be part of a new team of laboratory professionals committed to delivering fast, accurate, and high‑quality geotechnical testing services as we open our new laboratory location in New York. Key Responsibilities- Perform laboratory testing on soil.
- Collect, record, and report test data with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Assist with laboratory projects and daily operations as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment.
- Uphold high standards of quality, safety, and process compliance.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
- Organized, adaptable, and willing to learn new laboratory techniques.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant laboratory testing experience – full training will be provided.
- Coursework or exposure to earth sciences, geology, civil, or environmental engineering.
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, bend, and stand for extended periods at a lab bench or workstation in a standard indoor lab setting.
