Job Description & How to Apply Below
Picture your morning in East Aurora: you step into a spotless, high-tech shop where ISO
9001:2015 and AS9100D standards set the tone. For over 43 years, Ever Fab has invested in world-class machining and validation equipment—and in people who care about getting it right the first time.
Your Day At 7:00 AM, you partner with machinists, open a traveler, and compare the blueprint to the first piece. GD&T features—true position, flatness, concentricity—line up with your plan. With micrometers and calipers in hand, you confirm size. A comparator check follows; then a vision system snapshot for tricky profiles. You record findings electronically, flag a minor non-conformance, recommend a correction, and keep production on time.
Random floor audits, first article inspections, and microscope checks for burrs and finish round out the morning. The afternoon brings a complex titanium part—your metrology skills and CMM/PCDMIS knowledge make short work of it.
What You’ll Own Interpreting blueprints and applying GD&T to CNC machined parts in stainless steel and exotic alloys (including titanium).Performing first piece, in-process, random, and final inspections at machining or inspection stations; reporting all findings.
Executing First Article Inspections (FAIs) and accurately documenting results and any non-conformances.
Using precision tools: micrometers, calipers, dial and pin gauges, gauge blocks, comparators, vision systems, and microscopes to verify size, squareness, parallelism, surface finish, and more.
Collaborating closely with machine operators to hit the goal: 100% quality, 100% on time.
Following all safety and housekeeping procedures; completing required records in written or electronic form.
Applying solid math and basic computer skills; CMM programming and PCDMIS experience are a plus.
What You Bring At least 2 years of inspection experience in a precision manufacturing environment.
Proficiency with AS9100 quality systems and blueprint reading.
Meticulous attention to detail, a positive and respectful team approach, and a problem-solving mindset.
Desire to go the extra mile; multi-axis machining familiarity and root cause analysis are bonuses.
If you’re a CNC Machinist ready for a new path, Quality can be your next career move.
Schedule, Pay, and Perks1st shift:
Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.Pay: $24.00 – $28.00 per hour.
