Role Description

This is an on-site role for an Assistant Manager at Auden Living, located in New York, NY. The Assistant Manager will work closely with the Property Manager to ensure smooth property operations, including managing tenant relations, overseeing day-to-day operations, assisting with leasing activities, supervising staff, and ensuring maintenance and repair needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with day-to-day property operations and administrative tasks
  • Support leasing, renewals, and occupancy goals
  • Assist with rent collections, billing, and basic financial reporting
  • Respond to resident concerns and service requests professionally
  • Help coordinate move-ins, move-outs, and resident events
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and company policies
  • Support staff scheduling and office coverage
  • Step in for the Property Manager as needed
Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of Property Management or Leasing Experience (student-housing preferred)
  • Proficiency in property management operations, including tenant relations and lease agreements
  • Leadership skills to supervise staff effectively and manage operations efficiently
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities for overseeing maintenance, repairs, and day-to-day tasks
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with residents, staff, and vendors
  • Customer service focus and a commitment to creating positive living experiences
  • Experience with housing software or property management systems is a plus
  • Flexible availability during peak leasing season

Pay

$27/hour

Additional Compensation
