I'm working with a Leading Investment Firm who are looking for a Real Estate Associate/Senior Associate to join their team in New York.
- Review inbound opportunities from brokers and off-market channels; evaluate teaser materials and quickly screen deals against investment criteria.
- Build detailed acquisition models (DCF, IRR, equity waterfalls, debt sizing) and run sensitivity analyses on rent growth, exit cap rates, and leverage.
- Coordinate third-party reports (appraisal, environmental, property condition), review leases, analyze rent rolls, and validate underwriting assumptions.
- Conduct submarket research, comp analysis (sales and leasing), and assess supply/demand dynamics to support investment thesis.
- Prepare IC memos, presentations, and lender packages summarizing returns, risks, structure, and strategic rationale.
