Assistant Property Manager

XL Real Property Management is a luxury property management company that focuses on serving the needs of investors in the New York City real estate market.

The Inspections Manager will be responsible for the following:

• Conduct pre move, post move out, and final move out inspections for tenants vacating apartments within our portfolio
• Prepare reports noting apartment condition to be reviewed by property manager and owner(s)
• Make recommendations for apartment improvements once the tenant vacates
• Review work done by contractors to ensure quality is acceptable
• Work with property management team to ensure timely delivery of apartments to new tenants
• Participate in weekly team meetings to review turns and work orders

• 1-3 years of property management experience
• Ability to work independently, collaborate as a team and effectively manage multiple tasks.
• Bachelor's degree (BA or B.S.) or equivalent experience in Property Management.
• Effective client service, professional presentation, communication (verbal and written), active listening, judgement, organizational and time-management skills.
• High level of interpersonal skills and maturity to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel
• Strong analytical and effective problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with project management software and property management software
• Experience with App Folio and  preferred.
