Harlem Congregations for Community Improvement, Inc. (HCCI) is looking for a motivated and experienced Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of affordable housing properties in New York City.

This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to operational excellence, regulatory compliance, strong resident relationships, and the long-term sustainability of affordable housing communities.

• Managing day-to-day operations of multiple residential affordable housing properties.
• Maximizing revenue, controlling expenses, and overseeing budgets and reporting.
• Maintaining compliance with HUD, Section 8, LIHTC, HCR, and other regulatory requirements.
• Supporting residents, supervising staff and vendors, conducting inspections, and assisting with lease enforcement or court proceedings as needed.

• 5+ years of property or asset management experience, preferably within New York City affordable housing.
• Required experience with affordable housing programs, including HUD, HCR, Section 8, and LIHTC.
• Strong financial, operational, communication, resident relations, and organizational skills.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; CPM, CHM, RAM, Tax Credit Certification, or similar credentials are preferred.

The position is based in New York, NY, with a salary range of $60,000 – $70,000 annually
. Travel between properties is required and the role may involve court appearances and occasional extended hours.
