Redpath Partners are working alongside a leading private equity real estate firm with an integrated development platform to appoint a Development Associate to their New York team. The firm has the unique ability to participate in deals as either GP or LP, offering a flexible and entrepreneurial approach to multifamily investment and development.

This is an execution-focused position
. The Development Associate will support the delivery of multifamily projects from entitlement through design, construction, and stabilization. The role requires a strong technical foundation and hands‑on involvement in design coordination, permitting, and construction oversight, ensuring that projects are executed to institutional standards.

• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants on design development.
• Support entitlement and permitting processes with city agencies and stakeholders.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, and value engineering initiatives.
• Partner with construction teams to monitor progress, manage risks, and resolve challenges.
• Track project performance and prepare reports for senior leadership and capital partners.

• 3–6 years of experience in real estate development, construction management, architecture, or engineering.
• Strong technical background with the ability to evaluate design feasibility, costs, and construction execution.
• Experience delivering multifamily or large‑scale residential projects preferred.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and confident managing multiple stakeholders.
• Motivated to grow within a private equity platform with both GP and LP investment flexibility.
