Research Associate, Data Scientist, Clinical Research

Overview

Our client, a leading organization in health economics and outcomes research, is seeking a dedicated Research Associate to join their team. As a Research Associate, you will be part of the HTA, Value & Evidence (HV&E) Thoracic & Precision Medicine Oncology team supporting global access and value initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to project management, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Research Associate

Location: New York, New York

Duration: 12+ Months Contract

• Provide technical support, analysis, and reporting for health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) projects related to thoracic cancer and precision medicine.
• Plan, conduct, and manage real-world data studies, including database analyses and observational research.
• Support the development of patient-reported outcomes strategies within clinical trials.
• Perform literature reviews and synthesize evidence to inform decision-making.
• Create presentations and reports using PowerPoint and Excel to communicate findings effectively.

• Advanced degree in health services research, health policy, pharmacy, public health, epidemiology, health economics, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of relevant professional experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with complex processes, budgets, and deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
