The R&D Lab Coordinator supports research projects by coordinating activities, tracking timelines, and maintaining organization across the lab. This role serves as a liaison between the lab team and project managers, manages raw material requests, performs heavy metal analysis, and ensures accurate documentation and project follow-ups to support efficient R&D operations. The position also supports additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS
- Coordinate and track multiple R&D laboratory projects, ensuring timelines, priorities, and deliverables are followed up consistently
- Serve as a primary liaison between the R&D lab team and project managers to support clear communication and project alignment
- Organize and maintain project documentation, laboratory charts, data logs, and tracking tools to support ongoing research activities
- Request, track, and manage raw materials and supplies required for R&D experiments and testing
- Perform heavy metal analysis in accordance with approved methods, safety standards, and R&D protocols
- Support cross-functional collaboration by coordinating project updates and follow-ups with internal stakeholders
- Maintain organization within the laboratory to support efficient workflows and compliance with R&D standards
- Assist with prioritization and scheduling of lab activities to support multiple concurrent projects
- Perform additional duties and support tasks as assigned by the supervisor
- Associate’s Degree or higher (preferred science background)
- Formulation skills in all color cosmetics technologies, raw material knowledge (especially pigments), FDA/ global guidelines, OTC development
- Basic Knowledge of color cosmetics
- Excel/Power Point
- Project Management – Ability to plan, organize, and oversee projects, ensuring timely, cost-effective delivery.
- Data Management and Analysis – Proficiency in managing technical data, ensuring accuracy, and analyzing test results.
- Leadership and Team Coordination – Strong leadership to organize, motivate, and ensure effective teamwork within the lab.
- Communication Skills – Clear communication with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and management.
- Attention to Detail – Precision in following protocols and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
