DescriptionThis Part-Time position will assist in performing routine laboratory maintenance tasks, assisting in the preparation and monitoring of routine experiments, specifically organic synthetic procedures, assisting in DNA crystallography, gel electrophoresis, and maintaining standard laboratory equipment, and securing supplies. This position is based in New York, and the selected candidate will be expected to work onsite as of their effective start date.
In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the hourly rate for this position is $24- $24. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer.
QualificationsSuccessful applicants will hold a bachelor's degree in chemistry from an accredited university and a firm grasp of standard science laboratory safety protocols.
