About the Role
We are seeking a UX Researcher II to support fast‑paced research initiatives focused on AI‑powered legal product experiences. Based in New York City, this role works closely with product and engineering teams and engages directly with large law firms to understand workflows, pain points, and opportunities for innovation. You will partner with a senior researcher while independently leading small‑to‑medium research projects.
Responsibilities- Plan and conduct user research studies using a range of qualitative and quantitative methods.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand research questions and product goals.
- Conduct rapid discovery and evaluative research to inform AI‑powered product experiences.
- Engage directly with customers and legal professionals to understand workflows, needs, and pain points.
- Synthesize qualitative and quantitative data into clear findings, insights, and recommendations.
- Communicate research insights in ways that influence product and design decisions.
- Work with designers and product teams to iterate and validate solutions.
- Use AI‑assisted tools to support research planning, synthesis, analysis, and insight communication.
- Experience with user research methods such as usability testing, interviews, surveys, diary studies, or field research.
- Ability to independently lead small‑to‑medium research projects.
- Experience synthesizing research findings into actionable recommendations.
- Familiarity with survey or research tools such as Qualtrics, Survey Monkey, Dovetail, or similar platforms.
- Experience using Generative AI and emerging AI‑enabled user experiences.
- Comfort working in fast‑paced, iterative product development environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
Base Pay Range:
New York, NY $85,900 - $143,300. This position is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
