Position Overview
Job Title: Entry-Level Laboratory Technician
Location: Orangeburg, NY
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Entry-Level Laboratory Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for recent graduates with a degree in a scientific field who are eager to gain hands‑on laboratory experience.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine laboratory tests and experiments following established protocols.
- Prepare samples, reagents, and solutions for analysis.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Record, analyze, and report data accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant laboratory environment.
- Follow all safety procedures and regulatory guidelines (e.g., OSHA, GLP, GMP where applicable).
- Assist senior scientists or technicians with research projects and troubleshooting.
- Inventory and restock laboratory supplies as needed.
- Document procedures and maintain detailed lab notebooks or electronic records.
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Environmental Science, or related field.
- 0–2 years of laboratory experience (academic lab experience accepted).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of laboratory techniques and safety practices.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Internship or research experience in a laboratory setting.
- Familiarity with common lab equipment (pipettes, centrifuges, spectrophotometers, etc.).
- Exposure to regulatory environments (GLP, GMP, ISO).
- Experience with data entry or laboratory information management systems (LIMS).
- Laboratory setting with exposure to chemicals, biological materials, or environmental samples.
- May require standing for extended periods and lifting up to (X) pounds.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required.

Permanent position based out of Orangeburg, NY. This is a fully onsite position.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year.
