The Guo Laboratory at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City is seeking an ambitious postdoctoral fellow to join their group. This position is focused on the study of tumor-immune interaction in breast cancer. We are especially interested in understanding how stem cell programs and cancer driver mutations cause immunosuppressive microenvironment and developing therapeutic interventions. The project will use a wide range of technologies, including genomics/epigenomics, single-cell profiling, CRISPR genome editing, organoids, mouse models, various therapeutic modalities.

Our laboratory is part of vibrant research communities, including Gottesman Institute for Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine Research, Department of Cell Biology and Montefiore Einstein Cancer Center. The fellow will work in close collaboration with other Einstein laboratories, hence having ample opportunities to interact with leaders in the immunology and cancer fields.
QualificationsA successful candidate should have a strong training background in cancer biology, immunology or stem cell biology.
