Position Summary
The Cancer Clinical Trials Senior Research Associate supports the research team in the overall conduct of clinical trials using Good Clinical Practice. The role functions independently and serves as the lead Research Associate for the disease group, mentoring, training, and reviewing data accuracy of junior associates. Responsibilities include timely collection of protocol data and samples, shipping to external sites, obtaining informed consent for non-interventional studies, compiling and submitting data to the Sponsor, attending clinics for recruitment, administering questionnaires, and contributing to protocol development and database enhancements.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and maintain protocol data, samples, and study information.
- Ship samples to outside entities as required.
- Obtain informed consent for non-interventional studies.
- Compile, register, and submit data to sponsors.
- Assist the research team with recruitment and clinic activities.
- Administer questionnaires.
- Contribute to development of research protocols and database enhancements.
- Bachelor’s degree in life science or public health (required).
- Master’s degree preferred.
- ACRP or SOCRA certification required within 18 months of employment.
- 3 years of clinical research experience.
- Good Clinical Practice training required.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Life sciences or public health background preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Demonstrated leadership potential.
- Knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures in directly related field.
