The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
Position SummaryThe Data Coordinator I provides support for the management, organization, and maintenance of operational and research-related data within the Gius To Lab. This role is responsible for assisting with data collection, entry, validation, reconciliation, and reporting while ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements.
The incumbent works collaboratively with faculty and research staff to support data operations and contribute to the effective coordination of research activities.
Responsibilities- Maintain and manage operational and research datasets, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and data integrity.
- Perform data entry, validation, and reconciliation activities in accordance with established procedures.
- Assist with data tracking, reporting, and documentation for ongoing projects.
- Support the maintenance and organization of research databases and data systems.
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with faculty and research staff to support project coordination and data needs.
- Identify and resolve routine to moderately complex data issues using established guidelines and procedures.
- Utilize standard systems, tools, and technologies to support data-related functions.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned/requested.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of related experience in data coordination, administration, or database support.
- Experience working with data systems such as REDCap, Progeny, or similar databases.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
