Systems Biology Description
The Department of Systems Biology at the Columbia University Irving Medical Center invites candidates to apply for a senior level research position of Associate Research Scientist in the Korem Lab. The incumbent will conduct research in the human microbiome in health and disease. Candidates should have strong scientific and postdoctoral experience.
- Oversee research activities related to the nuMoM2b study (multiple R01-level projects).
- Lead independent research investigations in areas of women health.
- Instruct, guide, and mentor new lab members.
- Collaborate with grant and manuscript writing.
