This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for researchers who want to do meaningful, high-impact work on their own schedule — without leaving the world of serious intellectual inquiry.

• Design and develop advanced, multi-disciplinary problem sets that challenge and improve AI reasoning capabilities.
• Apply your domain expertise to craft complex, nuanced scenarios with real-world academic relevance.
• Review and evaluate AI-generated solutions for rigor, accuracy, and intellectual depth.
• Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to refine model performance.
• Ensure the highest standards of academic clarity and analytical precision across all deliverables.
• Work independently on task-based assignments, fully on your own schedule.

• Holds a Master's or PhD in a STEM or highly technical field from a top-tier university.
• Has a strong track record in research, publications, or complex technical project work.
• Think in systems — comfortable navigating multi-disciplinary problems with precision and creativity.
• Exceptional written communicator who can translate complex ideas with clarity and depth.
• Detail-oriented and self-directed — you hold yourself to a high standard without needing hand-holding.
• Fluent in English.

• Prior experience with data annotation, evaluation systems, or data quality workflows.
• Proficiency in Python, R, or other research-oriented programming languages.
• Background spanning multiple technical disciplines or cross-domain research experience.
• Familiarity with AI model development, benchmarking, or RLHF workflows.
