Location: New York
Waymo in New York is seeking a Research Scientist / Computer Vision Researcher focused on map scalability. You will tackle world understanding with VLMs, generative modeling and 3D reconstruction at scale, collaborating across Waymo and Alphabet.
This hybrid role reports to the Tech Lead Manager of AI Foundations and requires a Master’s or PhD in CS/AI/ML/DL, 1–3+ years, and proficiency in Python/C++, plus ML frameworks.
