About the RoleLead research strategy to build and drive the research roadmap for Growth product teams. Improve user experiences on Hinge worldwide and drive product excellence within the Growth product group.
Responsibilities- Build and drive the research roadmap for Growth product teams.
- Develop and execute end‑to‑end research using appropriate methods from strategic to iterative and evaluative to help the team achieve goals.
- Conduct research on international expansion, monetization and merchandising.
- Build inclusive products, considering different audiences’ needs and accessibility.
- Collaborate with researchers, product managers, designers, data scientists, customer experience, marketing and brand strategy to identify key research questions and prioritize projects.
- Generate actionable insights that help teams make decisions and build momentum toward the mission.
- Model honest, empathetic communication and help partners navigate ambiguity with confidence and care.
- 6+ years of user research experience, including 2–3 years in a consumer‑facing product research role.
- Experience working on monetization, subscriptions, or new revenue streams or zero‑to‑one products.
- Strong quantitative skills (e.g., survey, experimental) with expertise in measuring sentiment in experiment frameworks.
- Proficiency in data manipulation, analysis, and dashboard creation with R, SPSS, or Looker (or similar statistical software).
- Strong communicator, committed to telling clear and compelling stories with data.
- Proactive in building and sustaining trusting relationships with cross‑functional partners.
- Eager to learn from, collaborate with, and mentor other researchers.
