Job DescriptionAre you an early-career researcher looking to build hand‑on experience across global, high impact CPG projects? We are looking for an energetic, self‑motivated and passionate individual to join our US Consumer Research Team as a Research Analyst. This is a hybrid‑role based in Manhattan, NY. As a Research Analyst, you will support the delivery of market research projects, working closely with senior team members across all stages of the research process.
The work covers a range of ad hoc projects, typically involving quantitative research, but also qualitative and sensory as well as both traditional and online fieldwork in the US and internationally. With MMR’s focus on developing new and better research methods and sophisticated analysis techniques, the role offers the opportunity to gain experience of several novel and exciting approaches to conducting research and interpreting data.
- Supporting the design and setup of quantitative research studies.
- Writing and testing surveys in line with client objectives.
- Coordinating fieldwork and monitoring progress.
- Cleaning, checking, and analyzing data sets.
- Producing charts and creating clear, visually compelling PowerPoint slides.
- Contributing to insight generation and storytelling.
- Supporting preparation of materials for client presentations and debriefs.
- Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Food Science, Behavioral Science or a related field.
- Previous experience within an ad hoc agency.
- Quantitative experience essential and exposure to qualitative and/or sensory beneficial.
- Ability to translate data into compelling story‑led reports desirable.
- Agile and adaptable to client needs;
Strong organizational & time management skills required. - Strong communication skills & the ability to work effectively as a team essential.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required; experience with survey platforms and data visualization tools beneficial.
- Education level required - BS or BA degree with +1-2 years or Masters level degree +1 years.
- Experience with CPG beneficial.
