Research Scientist, Biotech Research, Research Assistant/Associate
Location: New York
Qualitrol, a Ralliant operating company, is seeking motivated Research & Development Cooperative Education (Co‑Op) Students to join our team for the Spring
2026 term. This role provides an excellent opportunity for current students to gain hands‑on experience in research, design, and product development. The R&D Co‑Op will assist with project management, process development and improvement, data analysis, and production support.
Responsibilities will include contributing to the design and implementation of license keys for generation systems for Qualitrol products, leveraging Python‑based and automated scripting tools for production use and database management, and supporting technical analysis of sensing technologies and strategic innovation to identify cross‑industry applications for future development.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with project management, process development, and data analysis.
- Contribute to design and implementation of license keys for product generation systems.
- Leverage Python‑based scripting and automation tools for production and database management.
- Support technical analysis of sensing technologies for improved performance and efficiency.
- Participate in strategic innovation initiatives to identify cross‑industry applications for future development.
- Junior or Senior standing, currently enrolled and on track to graduate in 2026 or 2027 with a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
- Field of study in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline.
- Strong technical, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience with or interest in Python programming, automation, and data management.
- Ability to work collaboratively across research, engineering, and production teams.
- A 6‑month immersive learning experience beginning Spring
2026. - Hands‑on exposure to R&D, product innovation, and technology development.

The hourly salary range for this position (in local currency) is $20–40.
