Position SummaryThe AlQuraishi Lab in the Department of Systems Biology is seeking a full-time, temporary Research Associate to support structural bioinformatics efforts in the lab, particularly ones focused on modeling protein-ligand systems in the case of Open Fold, AISB, and Open Bind projects. This role involves coding, analyzing data, and preparing reports on the findings.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain code to analyze biological datasets and improve computational modeling workflows.
- Conduct structural bioinformatics research to support protein-ligand modeling initiatives across multiple computational biology projects.
- Analyze computational results and interpret data to support scientific research objectives.
- Prepare technical reports, summaries, and research documentation to communicate findings to the research team.
- High school diploma
