Our client, a leading organization in scientific research and product development, is seeking a Bench Scientist to join their team. You will be part of the research and development department supporting innovative scientific projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate curiosity, attention to detail, and collaborative spirit, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title:

Bench Scientist (1-year contract)

Location:

Pearl River, NY

Pay Range: $35 - 38/hr.

What's the Job?

• Conduct laboratory experiments using established scientific methods to support research and development objectives.
• Prepare and analyze samples utilizing appropriate instrumentation and techniques.
• Document experimental procedures, results, and observations in compliance with GLP and internal standards.
• Collaborate with scientists and project teams to troubleshoot issues and interpret data.
• Contribute to method optimization and problem-solving efforts within the laboratory environment.

What's Needed?

• Degree in a scientific discipline such as Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of relevant laboratory experience.
• Proficiency in laboratory techniques and instrumentation relevant to the scientific discipline.
• Ability to follow and adapt scientific protocols with precision and attention to detail.
• Strong documentation and data interpretation skills, along with effective communication and teamwork abilities.
