NYU Langone Medical Center is one of the world’s preeminent academic medical centers and one of the nation’s premier centers of excellence in health care, biomedical research, and medical education. The Department of Population Health in the NYU School of Medicine was founded in 2012, and consists of core areas of biostatistics, epidemiology, healthful behavior change, comparative effectiveness and decision science, behavioral economics and health policy, and medical ethics.

• The post-doctoral candidates will work closely with Dr. Jiyuan Hu, Associate Professor in the Division of Biostatistics at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. The role involves developing cutting-edge statistical, deep learning, and AI approaches to advance the integrative analysis of high-dimensional, multi-omics, multi-modal data (including proteomics, meta genome/microbiome, metabolome, and EHR data) from large-scale population studies. The successful candidate will also engage in collaborative research with multiple partners across the medical school.

• Ph.D. in Statistics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Bioinformatics, or Computational Biology.
• Ability to analyze high-dimensional `-omics and/or EHR dataset.
• Prior experience in statistical/machine/deep learning/causal statistics, statistical genetics research is a plus.
• Strong communication skills (written and oral) and organizational skills.

Salary Range Competitive salary.
