  • Demonstrated research productivity through peer-reviewed, first-author publications.
  • Strong commitment to a career in biomedical research.
  • Ability to independently design and execute experiments, troubleshoot technical challenges, and adapt experimental protocols as needed.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary research environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present research findings and contribute to scientific discussions.
  • Strong background in animal physiology, molecular biology, and/or related biomedical research areas.
  • Three letters of recommendation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior research experience in Type II diabetes, heart failure, or related metabolic and cardiovascular disease models.
  • At least two years of hands‑on experience with mouse studies, including animal handling and minor surgical procedures.
  • Experience in primary murine cell isolation, culture, and functional assays.
  • Experience with gene editing approaches, such as CRISPR-based genome engineering or viral-mediated gene manipulation.
  • Technical proficiency in key experimental techniques, including flow cytometry, confocal microscopy, immunostaining, Western blotting, qPCR, and mammalian cell culture.
  • Experience with high-throughput data analysis and bioinformatics tools for multi-omic or large-scale datasets.
