Scientist II, Systems Immunology

• Serve as an immunology subject-matter expert on internal and external collaboration projects.
• Utilize computational skills as part of the External Collaborations dry lab team.
• Independently contribute to project planning, including goals, activities, and timelines.
• Lead the translation of data analysis to biological insights to generate actionable recommendations for drug development.
• Help shape Immunai’s bioinformatic platforms to reflect immunological insights.
• Communicate concepts and findings to external stakeholders through presentations and data reports.
• Perform literature reviews on project-specific immunological concepts and maintain current knowledge of immunotherapies, immunology, and single-cell technologies.
• Advise computational teams on matters of immunology.

• Ph.D. in immunology or closely related field - A MUST
• A minimum of 2-5 years of related experience (postdoc or industry)
• Hands-on experience dealing with single-cell RNA sequencing including coding and data analysis in R (preferred) or Python - A MUST
• Experience with multimodal single-cell data such as CITE-seq, TCR/BCR-seq, or spatial approaches is a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and innovation aptitude
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Excellent organization and time management skills, with an ability to multitask
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Demonstrates expertise in immunology and bioinformatics, with a strong focus on single-cell RNA sequencing and data analysis. Capable of translating complex data into actionable insights for drug development while effectively communicating findings to stakeholders.
