  • Schedule: Full Time and On Call shifts. Monday-Friday, 6am- 2:30pm/ 10am- 6:30pm.

Job Duties:

We are seeking a Senior Cook to join the Executive Client Dining team at Morgan Stanley—an elevated, high-performance culinary environment serving senior leadership, clients, and special events. This role is ideal for a seasoned, dependable professional who brings strong technical skill, composure under pressure, and pride in executing refined food at scale.

The Senior Cook plays a key role in maintaining consistency, mentoring peers, and ensuring seamless execution across daily service and high-profile events.

As a Senior Cook
, you will:

  • Execute and support high-volume, high-standard culinary service for executive meetings and events
  • Work fluidly across multiple stations, service styles, and menus
  • Maintain impeccable standards of food quality, organization, and cleanliness
  • Support event execution from prep through service and breakdown
  • Act as a steady, reliable presence during high-pressure service periods
  • Collaborate closely with chefs and peers to uphold culinary and service excellence
Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food to ensure it is nutritious and properly flavored in accordance with applicable federal, state, local and company standards, guidelines and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • May oversee the cooking activities of food service associates as assigned by Food Service Director.
  • Prepares various entrees and menu items following established recipes.
  • Operates and cleans equipment after each use. Performs scheduled routine cleaning.
  • Stores, labels and dates food items according to policy. Helps maintain organized storage of dry goods and refrigerated and frozen products.
  • Follows HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply.
  • Complies with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures.
  • Assists Food Service Director in maintaining accurate daily production records and completes all required documentation, reports, and logs as assigned.
  • Assists in the cross training of employees.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
