—the group behind The Nines, Elvis, Deux Chats, Le Dive, Bar Bianchi, and The Happiest Hour— is currently seeking Assistant General Managers to join our growing team.
The ideal candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced nightlife environment, and willing to roll up their sleeves in all aspects of service and operational procedures. Candidates must demonstrate a strong familiarity with creating exceptional guest experiences in both food service and busy bar environments. A solid understanding of spirits, cocktails, and cocktail culture, along with knowledge of natural wines, is highly preferred and beneficial.
Responsibilitiesinclude but not limited to:
- Supporting the GM in creating excellent guest experiences as well as providing team members with a secure and enjoyable work environment.
- Must be very social and strong at developing relationships with guests and regulars, coaching staff through busy service periods, participating in service frequently, working with the kitchen and events department to execute large group bookings at a high level.
- Passionate advocate for thoughtful hospitality, a food, drink, and music enthusiast, and skilled at offering support, empowerment, and accountability to team members to deliver exceptional service.
- Our leadership team oversees meal periods focused on food and beverage service as well as late night periods focused on music and beverage service. The ideal candidate for this role has experience in both dining concepts and more nightlife focused concepts.
- Leads motivating, enthusiastic, educational pre-shift meetings.
- Ensures consistent execution of food, beverage, service, and hospitality that aligns with company values.
- Responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, and developing a strong team.
- Holds the team accountable, manages performance, while coaching and counseling when needed.
- Ability to diffuse challenging guest situations with patience, understanding, and tact; and resolve conflicts between team members.
- Capable of working independently and in a team environment; balances team and individual responsibilities.
- 3 years management experience in a similar face paced environment
- Must have experience working in a nightlife establishment
- Strong restaurant operational skills
- Knowledge of wines, spirits, and cocktails
- Experience using POS platforms such as Toast, 7
Shifts, Resy, Google Suite, Tripleseat and Slack - Candidates must have a flexible schedule that accommodates both opening and closing shifts, contributing to a total of 50 hours per week. Availability on weekends, including Sundays, is essential, as some closing shifts extend late into the night due to our hours of operation until 3 AM.
- $100K annual salary
- Monthly Travel Allowance
- 2 weeks paid vacation per year, available for use after 90 days employment
