Marcel – 945 Madison Avenue, New York, NY 10021.

Fixed Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour.
Job SummaryReceives all liquor, beer and wine from storeroom on a daily basis and as needed; replenishes all liquor, beer and wine as required in the bar throughout the shift.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Retrieve all needed food items from the kitchen and deliver them to the bar area.
- Retrieve all needed beverage items and garnishes from storerooms and deliver them to the bar area.
- Set up bottles on the bar with top‑shelf liquor on the back shelf.
- Ensure beer taps are working properly.
- Place appropriate bar snacks on the counter and keep supplies, such as snacks and napkins, stocked throughout the shift.
- Assist in opening and closing side work as assigned.
- Bus tables in the bar area.
- Help ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the bar or lounge areas; wash work tables, walls, refrigerators and floors under equipment; sweep and mop service areas, including floor mats.
- Ensure rubbish is removed from all receptacles.
- Prepare and serve beverages as needed to assist the bartender.

- Use of medium‑weight cut gloves when handling or using knives, peelers, choppers, mandolins or cleaning a slicer.
- Use of oven mitts, fryer gloves or steamer gloves when handling hot pans from ovens, warmers or steam tables.
- Use of slip‑resistant shoes and proper lifting techniques.
