** Job Responsibilities
**** Position Overview**:

The Beverage Server is responsible for the ability to provide prompt, friendly, professional and courteous service of food and beverages to our guests on the gaming floor.
*
* Essential Functions:

*** Provides excellent guest service to all guests.
* Responsible for prompt, efficient and courteous service of food and beverages to restaurant customers in accordance with venue standards
* Monitors customer needs on a continual basis ensuring all requests will be promptly fulfilled.
* Maintains a sanitary environment per sanitation guidelines.
* Uses a POS system to ring in orders, print checks, and cash out guests.
* Deals with complaints and issues in a professional, patient manner.
* Makes recommendations and maintains knowledge of all the menu items.
* Takes food and beverage orders from guests.

Performs other tasks as assigned.

** Knowledge/

Work Experience:

*** Must be at least 18 years old and have the ability to obtain the appropriate license pursuant to the applicable statute, rules and regulations.
* High school diploma or G.E.D preferred
* Experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
* ABC license
* Must have a NYS Food Handlers Permit
* Must obtain a Tips Certification.
** Language

Skills:

** Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals and other related documents.  Ability to respond to common inquiries from other Team Members or guests. Fluency in English required.  Ability to write detailed instructions and correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
** Mathematical Skills & Reasoning Ability:
** Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations. Ability to decipher various reports and maintains reports upon request with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills. Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines.

Essential responsibilities include moderate physical ability such as lift or maneuver at least fifteen (15) pounds, and prolonged standing during the shift.
