Chelsea Piers Golf Club is seeking to hire a part-time Food Runner/Server to join our Water Hazard Team. Located in the Chelsea Piers Golf Club lobby on Pier 59, the Water Hazard Bar + Lounge offers a variety of signature cocktails, draft beers, and seasonal small plates for everyone to enjoy.
As The Food Runner/Server You Will Be Expected To
- Consistently greet all clients
- Keep abreast of all pertinent information: specials, events, programming etc.
- Assist the Kitchen in prep work and cleaning
- Effectively answer/resolve client inquiries through active listening and offering alternative options where applicable
- Monitor visitor access and maintain security awareness
- Actively engage and build positive relationships with members
- Update and monitor tables and stalls for cleanliness
- Assist with opening and closing tasks
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized workspace

QualificationsAbout You
You are friendly, professional, and punctual. You enjoy working in a fast-paced and all-hands-on deck team environment. You have:
- Superior front line customer service skills
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Willingness to take on other tasks
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds or more
- Ability to be on your feet for hours at a time
- Ability to work on weeknights, weekends, and holidays
