Neir’s Tavern, one of NYC’s oldest and most iconic neighborhood bars, is looking for a Server/Bartender to join our team. We’re a high-energy, community-driven tavern serving great food, classic drinks, and good vibes to locals and visitors alike.
Responsibilities- Serve food and drinks to guests with a warm, welcoming attitude
- Prepare and serve classic cocktails, beer, and wine
- Handle both table service and bar service as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized bar and dining area
- Process payments accurately and efficiently
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
- Uphold responsible alcohol service standards
- High school diploma/GED
- Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or bartending is preferred
- Mixology or hospitality certification is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of alcoholic beverages and bar menu items
- Legal age to serve alcoholic beverages
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service and time management skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
