Breakfast Cook – Market Bar
Pay: $17.50 – $19.00/hour.
Schedule: Morning shifts | Must be available weekends.
Job Type: Part-time / Full-time (specify)
About the Role: Market Bar is looking for an experienced Breakfast Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in breakfast service, works well under pressure during busy morning rushes, and takes pride in consistent, high-quality food.
Responsibilities- Prepare and cook breakfast menu items (eggs, griddle items, breakfast meats, sides, etc.) to order.
- Set up and stock cooking stations before service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
- Follow recipes and portion guidelines to ensure consistency.
- Monitor food quality and freshness; rotate stock (FIFO).
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team during service.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
- Break down and clean stations at end of shift.
- Minimum 4 years of cooking experience, breakfast/brunch service preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be available for morning shifts, including weekends.
- Strong knife skills and grill/griddle experience.
- Food Handler's certification (or ability to obtain one).
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
