Some Executive Chef opportunities ask you to maintain a successful restaurant.
This one asks you to help build a legacy.
PERSONE NYC is conducting a search for an exceptional Executive Chef to lead one of New York City's most exciting culinary transformations.
This isn't simply an opportunity to run a kitchen. It's the chance to partner with ambitious ownership that believes kosher fine dining is entering an entirely new era—and wants to help lead it.
If you've dreamed about taking everything you've learned in Michelin-starred or world-class kitchens and building something truly your own, this may be one of the most exciting Executive Chef opportunities currently available in New York.
This beautiful, modern restaurant is located within one of Brooklyn's most unique luxury wellness destinations, while operating as a completely independent restaurant with its own ownership, culinary direction and identity.
Over the past 16 months, new ownership has quietly invested in building a strong operational foundation while preparing for the restaurant's next chapter.
The restaurant currently serves approximately 80–90 covers on busy evenings and around 60 covers on slower nights
, with dinner service operating Sunday through Thursday
.
You’ll inherit a talented BOH team of 13 professionals
, including an experienced Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chef, providing an excellent foundation to continue building upon.
This is a rare opportunity to take an already successful restaurant and elevate it to an entirely different level.
Ownership's ambition is clear: to build one of the country's premier kosher fine-dining destinations, earning national recognition and ultimately competing for Michelin recognition alongside New York's finest restaurants.
They’re prepared to invest.
In systems.
Most importantly, they’re looking for the right culinary leader to build that vision together.
Ownership isn't searching for someone to simply execute an existing concept.
They’re looking for someone who wants to leave a lasting mark—someone whose ideas will genuinely shape the menu, guest experience, culture, standards, branding and long-term direction of the restaurant.
You’ll have the opportunity to bring your own culinary personality and point of view while working directly with ownership to define what modern luxury kosher dining can become.
For the right leader, there is also a long-term equity opportunity
, reflecting ownership’s desire to build something meaningful together rather than simply hire another Executive Chef.
This is a genuine seat at the table.
This is one of the most unique aspects of the opportunity.
Ownership believes exceptional leadership, technical ability, creativity and hospitality are far more important than previous kosher experience.
If you've trained or worked in Michelin-starred kitchens—or restaurants that demand exceptional technique, precision and standards—but have never worked with kosher cuisine, they are completely open to teaching the right Chef.
What they can't teach is:
Those are the qualities they're truly searching for.
The restaurant is entering an exciting period of evolution under its ownership.
The incoming Executive Chef will have the opportunity to collaborate on the future culinary identity, branding, marketing, guest experience and overall story of the restaurant.
You won’t be expected to fit into someone else’s identity.
You’ll help create the next one.
This is an opportunity to define what the restaurant becomes over the next decade while helping build a lasting hospitality brand.
