Key Responsibilities- Greet guests as they arrive and provide a friendly, welcoming first impression.. .
- Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using the reservation system or seating chart.. .
- Escort guests to their tables and present menus.. .
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand, entrance, and waiting areas.. .
- Communicate accurately with servers and managers regarding guest needs and table availability.. .
- Answer phone calls, take reservations, and provide restaurant information as needed.. .
- Assist with special requests such as seating arrangements or guest accommodations.. .
- Monitor dining room flow and coordinate seating to maximize efficiency.. .
- Support team members by assisting with service tasks when needed.. .
- Previous host/hostess or customer service experience preferred.. .
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.. .
- Professional, polished appearance and demeanor.. .
- Ability to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced environment.. .
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.. .
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.. .
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 lbs.. .
