• Owntheday-to-dayoperationoftherestaurant.Takeresponsibilityforservice,staffing,team performance,guest experience,financial results,andtheoverallhealthofthebusiness.
• Leadfromthefloor.Bevisible,engaged,andpresentduringservice.
  
  Knowwhatishappeningthroughouttherestaurantandstepinwhereveryouareneeded.
• Createexceptionalguestexperiences.Setthestandardforwarm,thoughtful,genuinehospitalityandteachyourteamhowtorecognizeopportunitiestogoaboveandbeyondforourguests.
• Hire,train,coach,anddevelopahigh-performingteam.Trainingshouldn'tstopaftersomeone'sfirstweek.
  
  Continuouslyteachyourteamabouthospitality,service standards,menu knowledge,communication,andwhatitmeanstotakecareofaguest.
• Developyourmanagersandfutureleaders.Delegate effectively,providemeaningfulfeedback,holdpeopleaccountable,andgiveyourteamthetoolsandconfidencetomakegooddecisionswithoutalwaysneedingyouintheroom.
• Manageprivateeventsalongsideregularrestaurantoperations.Understandhowtoplanforandexecuteeventswithoutlosingsightoftheexperiencehappeningthroughouttherestorestaurant.
  
  Coordinate staffing,layouts,timing,guestflow,foodandbeverageexecution,andcommunicationbetweenteamssobotheventguestsandregulardinersreceiveanexcellentexperience.
• Planahead.Anticipatestaffingneeds,operational challenges,events,busy periods,maintenance issues,inventoryneeds,andotherpotentialroadblocksbeforetheybecomeproblems.
• Holdhighstandardswhilebeingwillingtojumpin.Youshouldhaveauthorityandcommandrespect,butnotaskshouldbebeneathyou.
  
  Whentherestaurantgetsbusy,greatleadersfigureoutwheretheyareneededmostandhelptheirteamsucceed.
• Buildapositiveandaccountableculture.Createanenvironmentwherepeopleenjoycomingtowork,understandwhatisexpectedofthem,communicate respectfully,andtakeprideinwhattheydo.
• Managethebusiness.MonitorfinancialperformanceinlinewithcompanyKPIs,managelaborandoperatingcosts,maintainappropriatestaffinglevels,overseeinventoryandvendorrelationships,andproactivelyidentifyopportunitiestoimprovethebusiness.
