Job Description
FOOD SERVICE COOK (Inwood, NY)
Starting Pay: $23.50/hr.
Job Duties- Prepare and produce food in high-volume settings based on established menus and recipes
- Perform cooking tasks such as grilling, sautéing, and sauce preparation
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards
- Monitor food usage and minimize waste
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Support additional kitchen operations as needed
- Experience in high-volume food service environments
- Experience or exposure to menu development preferred
- Food Handler certification or ability to obtain
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and workload effectively
- Availability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
