Front of House Team Member Responsibilities:

  • Smile

  • Protect the guest experience and restaurant standards, even when Leadership is not immediately present.
  • Take responsibility for mistakes, communicate concerns promptly, and contribute to solutions.
  • Work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment and remain composed during periods of high business volume.
  • Continuously develop your knowledge, skills, and ability to support multiple areas of the restaurant.
  • Work on your feet for extended periods and perform the physical responsibilities required of the position.

30-Day Introductory Training and Evaluation Period

All new hires begin with a 30‑day introductory training and evaluation period. During this time, we evaluate attendance, punctuality, attitude, coachability, teamwork, guest service, speed, accuracy, cleanliness, communication, and ability to meet restaurant standards.

Continued employment is based on successful completion of this introductory period, business needs, and compliance with all applicable laws.

Most Chick‑fil‑A Restaurants are operated by independent franchised business owners who make all their own employment decisions and are responsible for their own content and policies.
