Dishwasher at Flik Hospitality Group, Queens, NY

Flik Hospitality Group is hiring immediately for full-time Dishwasher positions at the JFK Emirates terminal within JFK International Airport, Queens, NY 11430. This role is critical to maintaining the sanitation and safety standards that keep a high-volume airport kitchen running. The Dishwasher maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in orderly and sanitary condition.

• Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes; wash by hand or place in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine. Ensure complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Wash pots, pans, and trays based on assigned procedures.
• Polish silver using burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel, and hand cloth depending on assigned equipment.
• Maintain temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food prep surfaces.
• Remove trash and place in designated containers; steam clean or hose out garbage cans.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas; help load and unload supplies and product.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Previous experience preferred but not strictly required.
• Fixed pay rate: $22.50 per hour
