Haley Wexler Private Chef is a private chef and meal prep business serving families across New York City each week, plus private dinners and supper club events. Founded by a Jean-Georges and Gramercy Tavern alum, we cook seasonal, fully custom menus from scratch, tailored to each client's tastes and allergies. Private Chef / Meal Prep Cook (Contract)

New York City, in client homes

Schedule:

1 to 4 days per week, mondays are a must

Pay rate per client starting at $170 and up

We're looking for an experienced cook to join our team preparing weekly meals for private clients across the city. You'll cook a set menu of 3 to 5 dishes per household, working independently in client kitchens . Groceries are pre-ordered and waiting at the clients home for you, menus are usually written by Haley (though your input is always welcome!)

• Cook 3 to 5 complete dishes per client, from proteins to sides to sauces
• Follow each client's allergies, restrictions and preferences.
• Package, label and store food properly for the week ahead
• Leave every kitchen cleaner than you found it
• Communicate clearly about timing, substitutions and anything that comes up

this position is: hourly, varies DOE, $45.00 - $60.00
