As a Store Associate at A Shop of Things, you are acting as the face and first impression of the company. Store Associates are responsible for driving sales through engagement of customers, sharing product knowledge, and suggestive selling. Maintaining a high level of customer service, and a positive attitude is key for this role. You will be responsible for working to create client loyalty and expand our brand presence.

The ideal candidate for this role is outgoing, self-motivated, a problem solver, passionate, and able to multitask and work with a sense of urgency.

• Greeting and engaging with all customers
• Restocking the sales floor
• Merchandising product
• Stock counting
• Maintaining organization and cleanliness of the sales floor and stockroom
• Processing incoming shipments
• Ringing out clients at the POS
• Recording daily sales, data, analytics, and metrics
• Maintaining up to date knowledge of policies, products, pricing, and promotions

• Loss Prevention:
  Monitor and escalate loss prevention matters accordingly.
• Cash Handling:
  Accurately receive, count, and distribute change to customers, and end of day drop.

  Able to prioritize tasks to meet goals efficiently.
