The Home Depot is hiring for a Customer Service/Sales Associate. This role involves providing fast, friendly service by actively seeking out customers to assess their needs and provide assistance. Associates learn about products using our tools and provide information to customers to support selling an entire project.

• Greet, qualify, recommend and close every customer in their department, and handle basics in adjacent departments.
• Learn product information using company tools and provide accurate guidance to customers to help complete sales.
• Maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas, and ensure they are clean, shop-able, and safe.
• Provide a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies and standards, completing required safety training, correcting hazards or reporting conditions to the Manager on Duty, and working safely to avoid endangering themselves, co-workers, vendors, or customers.
• Collaborate with the Department Supervisor and other associates in their department and across departments. Specific store areas may include Building Materials, Décor, Electrical, Flooring, Garden, Hardware, Kitchen & Bath, Lumber, Millwork, Paint, Plumbing and Tool Rental.
• Role types may include Department Sales, Lead Generator, Pro Account Sales, Sales Specialist, Special Services, and Customer Order Specialist.
