Sales Associate, Part Time Flex – Brooklyn (West Elm Outlet)

• Provide sincere, friendly, and energetic customer service that exemplifies world‑class service standards.
• Achieve established sales and contest goals while maintaining knowledge of current sales and promotions.
• Assist customers with a variety of services, including gift wrap, gift registry, locating merchandise, catalog and special orders, back orders, charge sends, courier deliveries, and furniture orders.
• Utilize effective selling techniques to build multiple sales and increase productivity.
• Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge and communicate features and benefits to customers.
• Efficiently and accurately perform register transactions (sales, returns, exchanges).
• Assist with visual merchandise presentation, signage, and lighting maintenance.
• Uphold store maintenance and cleanliness standards, straighten and clean stockroom as needed.
• Process, ticket, and restock merchandise.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• 1–2 years of customer service experience and retail sales experience; specialty retail experience preferred.
• Strong ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Able to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time; operate POS system; lift and mobilize medium to large items up to 75 lbs. while using appropriate equipment and safety techniques.
• Part‑time Flex associates must be available to work a minimum of two weekend shifts and two weekday shifts; full‑time associates have open availability.

Competitive compensation package: $18.25–$19.25 per hour.
