Store Manager – Flatiron

Job Description

As the Store Manager at Salomon’s first Brand store in New York, you will lead the store and ensure its financial success, efficient operations, and exceptional customer experiences while growing the Salomon consumer base within the community.

• Leadership – Motivate and inspire the team through a compelling vision, manage all aspects of the store balanced scorecard (people, operations, finance, customer), and mentor team members.
• Customer Service – Ensure the team understands customer needs and delivers consistently high‑quality service; be present on the shop floor and interact productively with customers.
• Operations – Manage inventory levels, deliver operational best practice, oversee safety and health standards, schedule staffing, and ensure company policies are adopted.
• Sales & Finance – Manage payroll, monitor loss‑prevention program, analyze sales trends, and deliver P&L and retail KPI’s in line with budget.
• Recruitment, Training & Education – Lead Sales Associate recruitment, oversee onboarding and ongoing training, and support team members’ career development.
• Role Accountability – Fully accountable for all Store Manager responsibilities and capable of performing additional management duties as needed.

• At least 5 years of retail management experience.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of 10 or more.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, multitasking, planning, and organizational skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Financial acumen and proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Enthusiasm for the sports industry, outdoors, and fashion.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

• General availability:
  Flexibility to work various shifts (mornings, evenings, weekends) as determined by the Regional Manager.
• Peak Period Availability – Black Friday:
  All employees are expected to be available.
• Holiday Season:
  Availability required from the second week of December until the end of the holiday season.

Regular travel, talk, and hearing; frequent sitting, standing, walking, and occasional kneeling, stooping, crouching, twisting, and lifting up to 30 lbs. Close, color, and focus vision required. Moderate to loud noise level and occasional lights.

• Salary Range: $80,000 – $110,000 USD (base only, excluding bonus and benefits).
