Job TitleSenior Sales Associate
Primary PurposeThe successful individual will leverage their proficiency in retail to achieve business goals and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Responsibilities- Client & Service Expert:
- Achieves individual sales goals.
- Develops strong product knowledge across all categories.
- Delivers exemplary customer service by providing the ultimate kate spade Experience.
- Develops personal connections with guests using effective selling skills.
- Leadership Presence:
- Achieves personal sales goals.
- Maintains extensive product knowledge.
- Partners with Store Manager and Assistant Manager to elevate selling culture.
- Partners with Store Manager and Assistant Manager to initiate business-driving events in store.
- Building Brand Equity:
- Understand and communicate the kate spade new york brand aesthetic, philosophy and lifestyle to the sales team and customers.
- Build strong relationships with clients as a brand ambassador.
- Communicate client feedback to Store Manager and Assistant Manager to elevate client service and sales.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures with honesty and integrity.
- Operational Excellence:
- Perform and supervise store opening and closing procedures including counting register funds, completing bank deposits, and securing the facility.
- The accomplished individual will possess:
- Strong communication skills
- Proven ability and contribution to an elevated selling culture
- Elevated sense of personal style
- An outstanding professional will have:
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in luxury goods or a comparable retail environment
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
- Available to work store schedule, as needed, including evenings and weekends
- Standing for extended periods of time
- Able to safely lift boxes up to 50 pounds
