Merchandise Planner - Contemporary RTW Brand, Hybrid in Brooklyn

This role is a full-time position for a Senior Planner with responsibilities spanning merchandising, allocation, and design collaboration within a contemporary RTW brand.

Base pay range

$90,000.00/yr - $97,000.00/yr

• Drive collaborative conversations with merchandising, allocation, and design partners to ensure strategic alignment
• Collaborate on buildout and execution of annual and multi-year long-range plans
• Present monthly OTB; review sales, margin, receipts, and strategy; highlight risks and opportunities
• Manage core items/key items forecast and inventory plans in partnership with merchants
• Provide guidance and partnership to Merchant team on all buys
• Conduct hindsight analysis to guide future budgets and strategies

• 3+ years relevant planning experience within an apparel, accessories or related lifestyle brand
• Prior experience in a DTC brand and/or accessories a plus
• Critical thinker with the drive to uncover details, solve problems, and maximize performance
• Expert in reporting, Excel, Retail Math with confidence with large data sets
• Technology, data and systems enthusiast with ability to utilize and navigate planning front end systems
• Ability to build relationships and productive partnerships cross functionally
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Organized, capable of setting and meeting deadlines for self and team
• Adaptable and amenable to change and redirection
