About the RoleWe are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Assistant Merchandiser to support the strategic planning, development, and management of product assortments across key categories including sheets, blankets, and top-of-bed. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the right products are delivered to retail partners while aligning with brand strategy and financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage seasonal and core product assortments for Bedsure’s Omni team key categories of focus.
- Collaborate with design, sourcing, and product development teams to create commercially viable products.
- Build assortment strategies based on sales history, trend insights, and market data for key retailers.
- Preparation of presentations for retailers, based on sales strategies and white space opportunities.
- Analyze trends, colors, fabrics, constructions, and finishes relevant to the home textile market.
- Review samples, lab dips, and prototypes to ensure quality, cost, and brand alignment.
- Ensure timely execution of seasonal calendars for market and product launches.
- Partner with sales, visual merchandising, and overseas team to support go‑to‑market strategies.
- Coordinate with overseas product manager and sourcing team to ensure on‑time delivery and quality compliance.
- Support key accounts or retail partners with assortment and product recommendations.
- Monitor competitive landscape, customer feedback, and industry trends.
- Attend trade shows, market weeks, or conduct store visits/comp shops as needed.
- Translate trend insights into actionable product strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Fashion, Business, or related field.
- 3–5+ years of merchandising experience, preferably in home textiles or soft goods.
- Strong understanding of fabrics, constructions, and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in Excel and merchandising systems (PLM, ERP preferred).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience with global sourcing and vendor management.
- Knowledge of retail, e‑commerce, or wholesale merchandising strategies.
- Strong aesthetic sense with a commercial mindset.
- Familiarity with sustainability and compliance standards in textiles.
