Deli Lead -Sandwiches

Our up and coming store located in Greenvale, NY is seeking an experienced

FT Deli Lead for our sandwiches. This position will be responsible for working as the Lead Clerk, training at one of our local stores until our Greenvale store opens!

Lead daily sandwich station operations, ensuring consistent quality, speed, and presentation standards

Prepare made-to-order sandwiches, wraps, and deli items according to company recipes and customer preferences

Train, coach, and support deli clerks on sandwich preparation, food safety, and customer service standards

Monitor product freshness, portion control, and visual presentation to maintain premium quality standards

Ensure proper rotation, labeling, and dating of all sandwich ingredients and prepared items

Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment, including equipment, prep areas, and service counters

Enforce food safety, sanitation, and health department standards at all times

Assist with inventory management, including stocking, replenishment, and minimizing waste

Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns in a professional manner

Coordinate workflow during peak hours to ensure efficient service and team productivity

Follow company policies and procedures and complete required documentation and logs

Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age or older

HS Diploma or equivalent

At least 2+ years of experience working in a Deli as a Lead or Assistant Manager, with working knowledge of how to cut prepared meats and cheese

Must have experience on making deli sandwiches in a very fast paced environment

Will provide excellent customer service to all customers placing orders or who have questions at the Deli counter
